Public Safety Telecommunications Officer

Madison Borough is accepting applications for a full time Public Safety Telecommunications Officer in its Police Department.  Salary range is $34,614 to $45,933, based on experience.  Responsibilities include recording telephone communications, receiving and relaying radio messages to various vehicles/personnel, other duties as assigned.  Requirements: HS Diploma or GED (Associates Degree or higher preferred), 3 years experience in public safety telecommunications; Current NJ approved Basic Telecommunicator certificate a MUST; ability to speak and understand Spanish a plus.  Applicants must complete a Borough application-available in Borough Clerk’s office, 50 Kings Road, Madison, NJ or on-line at www.rosenet.org.  Submit to Borough of Madison, Att: HR (address above) or email application to HR@rosenet.org, Subject line: Public Safety Communications. Deputy Court Administrator, Joint Municipal Court, Borough of Madison


The Borough of Madison is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Deputy Court Administrator. The candidate must have experience in all aspects of court administration, including a strong working knowledge of ATS/ACS, MACS and Page Center computer systems and strong financial skills in managing the general and bail accounts. Excellent customer service skills, attention to details, organization and self-motivation are a must. Office hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Candidates must be available for court sessions held on various evenings. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering queries from internal and external court users; supervising staff; preparing, reviewing and monitoring daily, weekly and monthly reports, evaluating reports, drafting correspondence; docketing tickets/complaints, accepting fine payments and bail, scheduling cases, issuing warrants, preparing certified dispositions, filing data entry; complying with New Jersey Rules of Court, Supreme Court Directives, laws and established policies and procedures governing the operations of the Municipal Courts of New Jersey.

Candidates must be accredited as set forth by NJ Court Rule 1:41-3. The hiring process will comply with NJ Court Rule 1:34-3, adopted September 13, 2011.

Wastewater Operator

The Madison-Chatham Joint Meeting, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking an Entry Level Licensed Operator for its Wastewater Treatment Facility. Deputy Borough Clerk

The Borough of Madison is seeking interested applicants for the full time position of Deputy Municipal Clerk.  Municipal government experience is required, RMC certification preferred.  The Deputy Municipal Clerk shall be responsible to assist the Municipal Clerk in all regular statutory duties and to fulfill all duties of the Municipal Clerk in their absence.  Duties include but are not limited to agenda and minutes preparation, election responsibilities, public records requests, licensing responsibilities, and attendance at meetings when required.  The applicant must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook, and strong customer service skills.  Salary is commensurate with experience, salary range $40,000 to $55,000. School Crossing Guard

The Borough of Madison is now accepting applications for the position of substitute School Crossing Guard. The position is a part-time position with a salary range of $17.05-$19.05 per hour. No benefits.
