Deputy Court Administrator, Joint Municipal Court, Borough of Madison:
The Borough of Madison is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Deputy Court Administrator for the Municipal Joint Court servicing Madison, Chatham Borough, Chatham Township, Harding and Morris Township. The candidate must have experience in all aspects of court administration, including a strong working knowledge of ATS/ACS, MACS and Page Center computer systems and strong financial skills in managing the general and bail accounts. Excellent customer service skills, attention to details, organization and self-motivation are a must. Office hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Candidates must be available for court sessions held on various evenings. Salary commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering queries from internal and external court users; supervising staff; preparing, reviewing and monitoring daily, weekly and monthly reports, evaluating reports, drafting correspondence; docketing tickets/complaints, accepting fine payments and bail, scheduling cases, issuing warrants, preparing certified dispositions, filing data entry; complying with New Jersey Rules of Court, Supreme Court Directives, laws and established policies and procedures governing the operations of the Municipal Courts of New Jersey.
Candidates must be accredited as set forth by NJ Court Rule 1:41-3. The hiring process will comply with NJ Court Rule 1:34-3, adopted September 13, 2011.

The Borough of Madison is accepting applications for the position of Sidewalk Sweeper. Responsibilities include daily maintenance/upkeep of downtown area using various equipment (sidewalk sweeper, power washer, manual tools, etc.); picking up of litter; cleaning parking lots; caring for shrubs, flowers, plants. Waste Water Operator The Madison-Chatham Joint Meeting, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking an Entry Level Licensed Operator for its Wastewater Treatment Facility. The applicant must also have the ability to obtain an S-1 License within 12 months of hire. The applicant shall operate various equipment and instruments used in the sampling, analysis, and processing of wastewater and biosolids. The applicant must also be prepared to respond to the facility for after hour emergencies within 30 minutes and possess a valid NJ driver’s license. The salary range is $40,000 to $50,000.
