Brain Trust

In alignment with the CECM's core mission of education, the Brain Trust was created as a vehicle for Madison based executives to advise and counsel the students of Drew University. The CECM Brain Trust roster includes seasoned executives and young professionals from various industries all sharing a common passion for mentoring the next generation of leaders.
Paul Boudreau
President, Morris County Chamber of Commerce 
Paul has over 20 years of experience as a government and corporate affairs executive, most recently as VP of State & Corporate Relations for Honeywell.  He has lobbied on business issues in 25 states and has expertise in state and local government relations, crisis and strategic 
communications, and community outreach. 
Jim Burnet
Assistant Administrator, Borough of Madison
Jim has close to 30 years of experience in developing and managing a wide variety of entrepreneurial and community related organizations including local government, arts & culture, Main Street retail and real estate.  He graduated from Lehigh University with a BS in Finance and MBA lives in Madison with his wife Sara and two children.  
Andy Buteux
Partner, The Partnering Group
Andy focuses on the best practices of retail availability, supply chain optimization, customer logistics programs, and manufacturer/retailer joint value creation.  He has 30 years of experience in consumer packaged goods, customer management and customer service/logistics.  Andy is a graduate of Hamilton College and lives in Madison with his family. 
Leigh Ann Catlin
International Business Development VP, NeoStrata Company
Leigh Ann has over 20 years’ experience in the skin care industry and is responsible for developing new international markets and managing the international distribution and licensing network for NeoStrata Company, which markets and sells patented therapeutic skin care products in the United States and in 85+ countries.  Leigh Ann holds a BA from Bucknell University and lives in Madison with her husband and two children.
Jim Conroy
Jim is a voice actor and television writer.  He is known for appearing on television shows, such as Celebrity Deathmatch, Kenny the Shark and Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman, radio commercials and video games. He worked for companies such as WGBH, The Walt Disney Company and Discovery Channel.  He has a degree in theatre arts from the State University of New York.

Mark is an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry.  As owner and Managing Partner, Mark's responsibilities at NewView include customer development, marketing, sales, branding and operations.  Mark an active member of the Downtown Development Commission and lives in Madison with his wife and children.
Gary Fisch

Gary's Wine & Marketplace began as a small wine shop in Madison, New Jersey in 1987 and has grown to be one of the largest fine wine businesses in the New York 
metropolitan area, with stores in Northern New Jersey. Gary has a degree in Political Science from Rider University and has served on various boards including the Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Development Commission.

Jim has over 20 years of experience in engineering, including nanotechnology, fuel cells, transparent conductive coatings, proprietary security pigments and other material sciences.  He holds PHD and MBA degrees from Rutgers as well as a Masters Degree from UCLA and BS in Engineering from Alfred University.  He is a scout leader for the Boy Scouts of America and lives in Madison with his wife and two children.
Thomas Haralampoudis

Thomas is owner and sales manager of Lanca Sales, a leading Full Service Export Distributor for Food Service Disposables and Institutional Products from the United States.  Tom helps distributors and importers in more than 50 different countries source products from the US and worldwide.  Thomas was elected to the Madison Board of Education in 2011 and is active in the Madison Rotary and Madison Recreation Advisory Committee.  He and his family live in Madison.
David Kern

John Meek

John has been President Americas of ASCO Valve Inc. since 2003.  Better known locally as Automatic Switch Company, its world headquarters is in Florham Park, NJ.  ASCO is a subsidiary of Emerson Electric Co., a $25 billion manufacturing company based in St. Louis.  John lives in Madison and is an active volunteer for the Madison Rotary Club and the Boy Scouts of America.

A not­-for-­profit professional, Amy has broad development experience in the arts and media, including Paper Mill Playhouse, WNYC Radio and Sesame Workshop.  She is an accomplished writer, editor and team leader.  Amy received a BA degree from Brown University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.  Amy and her family reside in Madison.

Russell Stern

Russell has over 25 years of experience in the Planning industry for local governments with experience in COAH, zoning, and various other land use disciplines.  He is an active volunteer in Madison including the 2014­-16 Chairman of Madison's Downtown Development Commission. Also licensed as a professional engineer and planner,  Steve began his career with a consulting engineering firm where he worked on many civil and environmental 
engineering projects throughout New Jersey. Steve is a resident of Madison and the current Chair of the Madison Planning Board as well as a trustee of the Madison Main Street Foundation.
Tom Uhlman

Prior to founding New Venture Partners, LLC,  Tom served as President of Lucent Technologies' New Ventures Group.  Since 1997, Tom and his colleagues have created over 60 new technology businesses.  Tom has also worked in the government arena. He is a resident of Madison and holds leadership positions in many organizations including the Madison Area YMCA Board of Trustees.
