In Search of the Fountain of Youth
Wednesday, October 10, 2018
For thousands of years, tales have been told about a magical fountain that somehow restores a person's ‘youth.’ The earliest record of a “fountain of youth” was written by the Greek historian Herodotus in fifth century BC. Since then billions upon billions of dollars have been spent trying to develop products and solutions for the age-old problem of aging: cosmetics, supplements, creams, masks, dyes, slimming garments, hair plugs, sports cars… the list goes on. All in an effort to help us look and feel young again. Even though our car ages, our house ages, our clothing ages, we, like the humans we are, love to believe it will never happen to us. Aging is universal, and the search for a pill, diet, workout, surgery, or implant that slows aging is a staple of the human endeavor.
Join us as Dr. Jared Cooper, Moment Institute, shares how to slow the effects of aging, live longer, and reduce your chances of developing an age-related condition.
