C-Change Conversations is a non-profit, nonpartisan volunteer organization that works to create awareness about the risks and opportunities associated with climate change. The C-Change Primer, a project developed by C-Change Conversations, uses visual data, charts, and photographs to provide an accessible overview of the science behind climate change and a clear-eyed assessment of potential risks ahead. The seminar was developed in consultation with scientists, educators and public policy experts. In presenting this type of clear, unbiased, scientific information, the hope is to create awareness of how climate change will affect people personally. They encourage bipartisan action to blunt the most significant threats and support efforts to adapt to a changing environment. Sponsored by Madison Garden Club, The Friends of Madison Shade Tree Commission and Madison Public Library.
