7:00 p.m. Municipal Budget Hearing Mayor and Council

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MADISON NOTICE, that the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Madison in the County of Morris and State of New Jersey have scheduled the following Special Meeting in the Council Chamber of the Hartley Dodge Memorial, 50 Kings Road, in the Borough of Madison, to discuss the 2013 Municipal Budget. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. FURTHER NOTICE, that this meeting is open to the public and that formal action may be taken.

Flu Shots Still Available at Madison Health Dept. Health Department

The Madison Health Department has limited doses of 2012-2013 seasonal flu vaccine still available. Vaccination against influenza infection is recommended for all who are six months of age and older with no medical contraindicaton to the vaccine. The cost is $25.00 and appointments are advised. Vaccine vouchers are also available for those over the age of 18 years who are uninsured and cannot afford to pay the fee. Call Madison Health Department at 973 593-3079 x 1 to schedule an appointment or for additional information.

Green Forum @ Drew University Sustainable Madison Committee

The first ever Madison Green Forum will be January 24th from 7pm to 9pm at Drew University. It will be the most comprehensive "green" brainstorming session ever conducted in Madison, co-sponsored by the MEC, Sustainable Madison AC, Shade Tree MB, Open Space, Recreation Advisory Committee and Parks Advisory Committee. Madison Public Library - Hours of Service Library

Sunday hours at the Madison Public Library will be 1 - 5pm beginning Sunday, January 6. The Library will also be open President's Day, Easter Saturday, Columbus Day and Veteran's Day. A request for extended hours of service was one of the key public responses during the Library's strategic planning process.
