Buy Fresh/Give Fresh - Madison Shares the Bounty

The Madison Farmers Market, in partnership with Drew University, will run the Buy Fresh/ Give Fresh program every week during the 2014 season.  Buy Fresh/Give Fresh is an initiative to bring farm fresh produce to soup kitchen recipients in Morris County.   Every week this season, shoppers will have the opportunity to buy produce at the market and drop it off in our Buy Fresh/Give Fresh wagon right in the middle of the market.  At the end of the day all the produce is picked up by Madison volunteers and taken to local soup kitchen and food pantry, Faith Kitchen in Dover.

We welcome volunteers.  If you are an individual or business, church group, scout troop, family, etc. who would like to help transport the Farmers Market produce to Dover, please contact Barbara Hughes at Farmersmarket@rosenet.org

Please contact the DDC at 973-937-8084 or on our Facebook for more information.
