The Board of Public Utilities has extended the Home Appliance Rebate Program. Residents who purchase Energy Star rated dishwashers, refrigerators, dehumidifiers and clothes washers may be eligible for a rebate. You may also be eligible for an additional $50 rebate if you recycle your old, still working refrigerator or freezer. The July meeting of the Environmental Commission has bee rescheduled and will now be August 5th, 7:30 pm, in the Bayley Ellard Building.

The Environmental Commission of the Borough of Madison in the County of Morris and State of New Jersey has postponed a regularly scheduled meeting at 7:30 p.m. on the Thursday February 25, 2010, due to inclement weather. The meeting is rescheduled for Thursday, March 4th in Room #314 of the former Bayley-Ellard High School Building 205 Madison Avenue, off Danforth Road Madison NJ 07940.
