The Community Coalition for a Safe and Healthy Morris invites you to "Stand Up Against Substance Abuse" with former Boston Celtic Chris Herren. He will share his story of his rise to NBA stardom, only to lose it all to addiction, as well as his eventual road to recovery.

This powerful presentation for students, parents and all of the community will be held at the Mount Olive Performing Arts Center at 18 Corey Road in Flanders, New Jersey on April 24, 2014 from 7 PM to 9 PM.  Please click here for a poster about the event.

Madison Area YMCA and the Madison Alliance Addressing Substance Abuse (MAASA) will be hosting a bus to transport people to the event.  The bus will leave at 5:50 p.m. sharp from Madison Pool parking lot on Rosedale Ave.

  • $5.00 per person/$10.00 per family 
  • Ages 18 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian 
  • Reserve bus seats by sending names and cell number to: 

             espositol@rosenet.org by noon on Monday, April 21, 2014. 

  • Drop off or mail payment to Madison Police window in the Public Safety building, corner of Kings Road and Prospect Street for receipt by noon April 21, 2014.
