Open Positions: 

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER - (CFO) - FULL TIME

Position available immediately due to pending retirement.  The Borough is seeking a highly qualified, motivated individual with excellent management skills for the CFO position. Applicants must hold a valid state Certified Municipal Finance License (CMFO) or be in the process of pursuing the CFO certification and have experience in Municipal Finance and Operations.  A college degree in Finance/Business or a related field is required and a Masters Degree in Finance/Business or a related field is preferred.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate meaningful experience in budget preparation, budget presentation, municipal electric utility operations, electric procurement, water utility operations, financial projections, collective bargaining, strategic planning, benefit administration, internal controls, grants, debt management, bank reconciliations, financial reporting and analysis, negotiation of shared service agreements, municipal fund accounting, utility funds, general ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation.  The successful candidate will have excellent communication and computer skills and be proficient with Power Point, Excel and the Edmunds financial reporting system.  He/she will be expected to work closely with the Borough auditor, Audit Committee, Strategic Plan Committees, the Business Community, volunteers, Borough staff and the seven members of the governing body.

 School Crossing Guards

The Borough of Madison is now accepting applications for the position of School Crossing Guard. The position is a part-time position (approximately 10 hours/week) with a salary range of $16.31-$18.31 per hour. No benefits.
