Health Educator/Part Time:
The Madison Health Department is currently seeking a Masters prepared Health Educator for a part time consultant position of 15 hours per week at $35 per hour (no benefits) from April 1st through October 31st with potential for a permanent part time position of up to 28 hours per week beginning November 1, 2015. The applicant must hold a valid New Jersey Driver’s License and CHES certification (can be in process of obtaining). Bilingual (Spanish) preferred and multiple licensing/certifications a plus (RN, REHS, Healthy Bones, Matter of Balance, etc).
Responsibilities will include a variety of the following:Strategic Planning and Evaluation; Grant Writing; Public Health Intern Supervision (project identification, selection); Municipal Alliance (staffing and program development, oversight of programs and grant); Chronic disease (prevention/management programs, leader training, supervision, reporting); Employee health and wellness programs; Mayors Wellness Campaign (program development, support); Communicable Disease (education, outreach); Partnerships and Collaborations (municipal and regional for a variety of public health issues and concerns); Publicity and outreach (various formats, target populations).
Ideal candidate qualities include the ability to work independently and as part of a team with a wide variety of people; have strong verbal and written communication skills; creative problem solver with good organization skills; and must be dependable, disciplined, flexible and detail oriented.

POLICE OFFICER –
MADISON, Morris County is accepting applications for a Police Officer with a 2015 starting salary of $40,804, plus $800 annual clothing allowance. Applicants must be US Citizens, MUST have PTC certification and at least 60 college credits or military service or previous police service. The successful applicant will be subject to a one year probationary period that may be extended at the discretion of the employer. Seasonal Part Time Employment:
Ski Director: Position is responsible for overseeing 6 Friday trips to Mount Peter in Warwick, NY in January and February 2015. Job duties include, but are not limited to, supervision of the participants, managing all accidents/medical issues, on-site direction of chaperones, parent communications, attendance and other light administrative tasks. The Director of Recreation will handle registration and coordination with Mount Peter. The Ski Director will receive all relevant materials (participant rosters, lift tickets, etc.) from the Recreation Department. This is a seasonal position with no benefits. $12/hr - $16/hr.
