October 29 Storm Update

ELECTRIC OUTAGE: 4pm Monday....power is restored to most of town. Localized outages remain. ASSUME ALL DOWNED POWER LINES ARE LIVE.

Please do not call the Police Department or 911 with questions regarding power restoration. Thank you for your patience.

SCHOOL CLOSED: Madison Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, November 1st.

YARD WASTE DISPOSAL
Residents are reminded to follow the following guidelines with yardwaste, branches and brush.

Place in containers no larger than 30 gallons, or biodegradeable paper bags. NO PLASTIC BAGS!

Limited to grass, weeds, leaves, hedge trimmings & tree prunings.

Containers should have handles, total weight cannot exceed 80 lbs, and MATERIALS CAN NOT STICK OUT MORE THAN 1 FOOT FROM THE TOP OF THE CONTAINER

Twigs and branches up to two inches in diameter, may be tied in 4 foot bundles, or put in reusable containers.

Logs more than two inches in diameter must be cut to a maximum of three feet in length, and will be collected with the garbage.
