Project Community Pride
28 Walnut Street
Madison, NJ 07940 (map)
Project Community Pride provides individual and group therapy to school-age children and their families who reside in Madison, Florham Park, and Chatham Borough. Reasons for referral to Project Pride include divorce support, adolescent adjustment issues, family issues, anger, anxiety, and depression.
Upon an initial intake appointment, an assessment is made by one of our Licensed Clinical Social Workers. A treatment plan is developed and the therapist and clients work together to formulate attainable goals for the family. Parents are a vital part of the process at Project Pride and are involved at every step of the way.
Confidentiality is held at the highest regard at Project Community Pride. Guardians are required to sign forms to authorize treatment, and release information, when necessary. With parents' permission, some sessions are conducted in the child's school, in order to create a connection between school, home, and therapy.
In addition to individual cases, Project Pride offers several groups throughout the community. Groups include:
- Divorce Group for elementary age children
- Adolescent Girls' Group
- Adolescent Boys' Group
- Socialization Group for middle school children
- Spanish-speaking Mothers' Group
- Parents' Groups
