Sandy Photos

The following pages show the devastation resulting from multiple large and tall trees falling across electric transmission wires and poles throughout the Borough of Madison on October 30, 2012 resulting from the peak high wind velocities associated with tropical storm Sandy.  Of note, the Emergency Operations Center provided a hub for state, county and local communications and multiple municipal field crews worked continuously to repair damages so that the commercial, institutional, and majority of residential properties had power restored within the week.
