Madison Main Street Foundation
The Madison Main Street Foundation was formed in 2011 to advocate Madison's commercial business district. As per the Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws, the purpose of the Foundation is as follows:
1. To foster a sense of community and to promote communication and cooperation To promote the development of Madison, New Jersey’s Commercial District (the “District”), to act as a business advocate for the District, and to produce and distribute educational material relating to the District;
2. To assist other charitable and educational organizations in the conduct of similar activities;
3. To engage in other charitable and educational activities as determined by the Board of Trustees;
4. To engage in any and all other lawful activities incidental to the foregoing purposes except as restricted herein.
All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift or contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes.
The Foundation has a seven member Board of Trustees. Current Trustees are:
