Museum of Early Trades & Crafts
Annual Fundraiser 2012
On Friday, November 30th, 2012 from 7 pm to 9 pm, the Board of Trustees of the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts invites guests to join them at the Museum for a special reception to raise money for its educational programs. The event, Celebrating Community, celebrates the Museum and honors The Rotary Club of Madison.
For over 40 years, the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts has been serving our communities, reaching over 10,000 children and their families each year. From curriculum-based school programs, to community activities such as Time 4 Tykes and Family Fun Days, to special programs for the developmentally disabled and physically impaired, to urban outreach, the Museum has been a true champion of New Jersey's children.
This year the Museum is recognizing an organization that dedicates itself towards continually serving the community and giving back so much to the town of Madison, which includes the Museum. Rotary is a worldwide network of inspired individuals who transform their passions into relevant social causes to improve lives in communities. The Madison Club boasts 86 talented and accomplished individuals dedicated to the core values of Rotary: Service, Fellowship, Diversity, Integrity, and Leadership.
All proceeds from this fundraiser directly benefit the educational programs at the Museum. Guests at Celebrating Community will enjoy a scotch tasting from Gary's Wine & Marketplace, delicious foods catered by Divine Catering and engaging music from Deborah Fennelly. There will also be a silent auction where attendees will have a wide variety of items to bid on-all for a good cause.
Advance registration is strongly recommended. Limited number of tickets sold. Tickets are $75.00/person and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Donations are welcome. Call 973-377-2982 x14 for more information or visit www.metc.org.
