This page will be updated as documents become available pertaining to the diversion request of 2 acres +/- at the Madison Recreation Complex, 184 Ridgedale Avenue.

The Borough of Madison has, in accordance with the rules and regulations set forward by the Morris County Department of Planning & Preservation and the Morris County Open Space, Farmland, Floodplain Protection & Historic Preservation Trust Fund, noticed the public in regards to the Public Scoping Hearing.

On Friday, July 12, 2019 at 9:26 A.M. the Borough of Madison Public Scoping Hearing Notice was posted for public view at the entrance of the Madison Recreation Complex (Block 601 Lot 1.01) at 184 Ridgedale Avenue, Madison, NJ

Press Release

On Tuesday, July 16, 2019 a press release was sent to local media, Madison Eagle, Tap Into Madison, Madison Patch, regarding the Public Scoping Hearing Notice. The release can be found here.

200' List

In accordance with state and local laws, 200' lists were obtained from Madison and Florham Park. Notices were sent on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 to all residents, businesses and required utility companies, as per both lists. The 200' list notice can be found here.

Public comments on this diversion request will be accepted at the scoping hearing, or until August 30, 2019. All comments can be submitted to:
