Complete Streets

A Complete Streets Committee has been formed to advance State objectives for policy making and to continue work completed by prior groups to advance safe routes, traffic calming, bike route planning, public and school buffer zones, etc. The Committee meets quarterly on an ad-hoc basis. Complete Streets initiatives are important for non-motorists in order to provide sustainable alternatives to motorized transportation, and are important for motorists to acknowledge and be aware of the presence of other modes of transportation in the right of way.
